Katrina Knudsen
Communication Relations Representative

 

Katrina Knudsen enthusiastically joined the Anusara staff in the summer of 2009. Since meeting John Friend in February 2002, she's been dedicated to serving the vision of Anusara yoga and John in whatever way she's called upon.

Now working officially as part of the staff, Katrina helps to weave together and integrate our community ever more harmoniously through a number of different outlets. She facilitates communication and correspondence with the community. She's delighted to help protect the integrity of Anusara yoga by educating the public about the licensing of the Anusara brands. In addition, she's the main moderator of Anusara's social media accounts as well as the Anusara Forum.  

Katrina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and attended Northwestern University for her first two years of college. She's been practicing Anusara yoga since its inception in 1997 and is a certified Anusara yoga teacher. She also studies with Paul Muller-Ortega and has completed his year-long Entering the Heart of Shiva course. Katrina is happily married and is the mommy of two energetic, amazing children. She loves to rip down the mountain on her snowboard and generally romp around the mountains whenever she's able.

Katrina always intends to come from love in order to serve the highest.
