Professional Background
I have an extremely diverse professional background. Prior to teaching Yoga, I worked in Gaming Marketing and Sales as an Executive Casino Host, a Legal Secretary and Office Manager in Mississippi as well as a Nightclub and Boutique Manager in Mykonos, Greece.

Yoga Background
Yoga started as a last resort to free myself from chronic neck pain as a result of an auto accident. Much to my surprise and delight, not only my physical pain was relieved but a much deeper ache in my heart was transformed. I found a connection to the beauty of my own heart I didn`t even know I was searching for. I went on to study yoga with Yogi Hari of FL and was certified to teach in 1997. I initially started teaching part time in Ocean Springs, MS at the local community center and then at a local studio in Gulfport MS. My dream was to teach yoga full time and in 2001, I became co-founder of Mind & Body of Ocean Springs which I went on to purchase in 2002 and renamed Golden Om Yoga & Wellness Center. Not being a natural business person, I made the decision to sell the studio to two devoted students in 2003 and I continue to teach there. My dream has become manifest! My love of the practice has brought me to continue my studies with many great teachers to whom I am forever grateful. Most of all, with deep love and respect, I humbly bow to my teacher, John Friend. To all those who have helped me along the way; Erich Schiffmann, Doug Keller, Raye Lynn Rath and I offer my humble thanks. I am truly blessed.
