Professional Background  
Michelle has her master of public health degree in Epidemiology. For more than 20 years she has worked both internationally and locally in public health and research. Michelle is a full-time doctoral student and she works as a clinical researcher. She loves the outdoors and is an avid gardner, hiker, snowshoer and back country skier. Michelle lives at FarmIncognito in the beautiful Waits River Valley with her husband Matthew and a menagerie of four-legged companions.



Yoga Background  
Since 1999 Michelle has been a dedicated yogi. In 2008 she stumbled into the world of Anusara® yoga after taking a class with Lydia Russell-McDade. She has practiced and studied with Certified Anusara teachers including John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh, Mark Kirk, Amy Ippoliti, Suzie Hurley, Ross Rayburn, Elena Brower and Margaret Piktin. In 2011, she completed the Anusara Teacher Training with Todd Norian and Ann Greene and has received Anusara–Inspired™ teacher status. Michelle is registered with Yoga Alliance® the national education and support organization for yoga in the United States.

Q: What other hobbies do you have aside from yoga practice?
A: There are so many. I am a farmer, gardner, hiker/backpacker, telemark/back-country/cross-country skier, CrossFit fanatic, chef and so much more...

Q: What is one of your all-time favorite movies?
A: "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Cool Hand Luke"
