Professional Background  
Retired 22 year AF Senior NCO found yoga late in life. Kicked around the world serving mostly in computer communications. Played lots of sports as an adult. Still haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up. Guess I'll teach Anusara Yoga!!!



Yoga Background  
Started yoga to learn to stretch so I could do better in ultra-marathons (running further than 26.2 miles). As my practiced grew my running became less important. Started teaching in 2007. Found Anusara Yoga in 2008. Became an Anusara-Inspired teacher in 2010. Certified Anusara Teacher is next on my plans.

Q: What other hobbies do you have aside from yoga practice?
A: Playing with my Golden Retrievers, Ben and Yogi. Hiking and biking the trails of the Black Hills. Traveling.

Q: What is one of your all-time favorite movies?
A: The Love Guru, Avatar, Braveheart

Q: What is one place that you would like to visit in the world? Why?
A: Ireland. My family came to the US from Ireland several generations ago and I want to go back and see where we came from. Would be great to teach there too so if anyone in Ireland needs a guest teacher, please write.

Q: What's your favorite color?
A: RED!!!

Q: What award in high school should you have won?
A: Greatest numbers of beers drank during a football game and still able to march in the band half time show. I was one of those non-traditional band geeks.

Q: What is one of the funniest incidents that occurred in one of your yoga classes?
A: Biting my tongue while assisting BJ and she said, "Look, Mark has a big heart on!"
