Professional Background  
Mark is currently attending Boston University School of Law and has taken a break from teaching full time.Mark holds a BA in Music, Jazz Studies, from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BA from the Liberal Arts Honors Humanities Program at UT. He studied Indian Philosophy in the latter and produced a thesis on the Caitanya Sampradaya's Acintyabhedabheda Vedanta philosophy, Rasa theory, and Kirtan. Aside from teaching hatha yoga, he teaches music to all ages.



Yoga Background  
Mark Franke is an Anusara Inspired teacher. When he is not teaching, he spends his time practicing asana, playing music, reflecting on his experience in the world, and connecting with the people he loves. Mark is a student of Christina Sell, Charly Pivert, and, of course, John Friend.
