Professional Background
My professional background began when I was 18 as an "underground" disc jockey at WHFS in Washington, DC. Being a "Free-Form" DJ was a dream that came true at a young age. I went on to work for Warner Brothers in the US, and then when I moved to Canada, I continued as an executive at Bertelsmann, Capital-EMI & Sony. Music was my passion, and I was fortunate to have it as my work. Yoga has turned out to be the same - my life's work.

Yoga Background
My Mum, Hisako raised me as a Buddhist. I was blessed to have been trained at a young age to chant for lengthy periods of time, morning & evening. Yoga always felt like a natural extension of my Buddhist practise.
I learned asana when I was 18 with a friend, and began practicing on my own straight away. I kept that with me over the years, until I reached out to a studio in Toronto (at the height of my professional years). I studied with Helen Goldstein, a Kripalu teacher, as well as with ashtanga teachers Ron Reid & Diane Bruni, and in classic Hatha. My first 200 hour teacher training was with Glenn Mifsud at Stillpoint Yoga. I came to Rome and studied with Diane Long in the Scaravelli method, and then I met John Friend. It has been a wonderful journey!
