Professional Background
Through the journey of nutrition and various yoga practices, including those that engage the physical and emotional body as well as support spiritual growth, I serve as a guide as you discover the ability to create balance and harmony at every level of your being. Through exploration of triggers and unconscious behaviors, you will uncover your deep seated desires that do not always align with your conscious behavior. In that effort, change begins and you reconnect to your true nature.
Registered dietitian since 1998, Anusara-inspired yoga teacher since 2003.
Yoga Background
I became a group exercise teacher in the 80s when the first hi-lo aerobic exercise shoes were just being introduced to the market by Reebok. From there, from a deep and hidden desire to reach perfection, I taught 5 hours of high intensity cardio classes and strenuously lifted weights 7 hours a week and became a strict vegetarian. Through the years, intensity has remained but the course has changed – yoga is my spiritual vehicle that also keeps me flexible and toned. Finding Grace - well, Grace found me (anugraha) - has led me to many teachers, my students being the greatest of all.

A: In a private yoga session, on an inhale with arms reaching overhead, my older male student's pants fell in a pile around his ankles.
