Professional Background  
BS degree nursing. Initially worked as assistant to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon then in O.R. Later, co- owned a personal training business working with deconditioned, post rehab, medical disease, and injured clients. Sold my half of business and worked with private clients and teaching yoga classes,privates, and TT for new teachers in 200 hour program at at Asheville and Savannah Yoga Center. Favorite aspect of teaching is sharing therapeutics with others suffering or experiencing any level of pain. Currently, working in animal welfare as a surgical tech relocated in Charleston, SC. Discovering the healing and balancing power of animals.



Yoga Background  
Introduced to yoga in 1989. Began fulltime study and practice 1994. Began in Iyengar Tradition and then to Ashtanga Vynasa and "Power Yoga". Experienced many wonderful teachers. I began teaching in May of 1995. Then was introduced to Anusara 4 1/2 years ago. I was injured at the time. I knew this was a gift and I have never looked back.
