Professional Background  
Jim holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of British Columbia, and a M.Ed. and a BA from the University of Illinois. He is a Chicago native and has been an educator for almost 30 years. Jim has spent 13 years abroad, teaching university in Canada, Japan, and Thailand and studying yoga and massage in the US, Canada, India, and Thailand.



Yoga Background  
Jim is an Anusara-Inspired teacher who has been studying yoga since university. Although he has earned both Kripalu Yoga and Kundalini Yoga certifications, and he is currently on the path to Anusara certification.
