The Mandala of Light is a unique opportunity to complete an entire Anusara Yoga Immersion with Mark Shveima, the only resident certified Anusara yoga teacher in Japan. You will receive personal guidance by Mark throughout the entire Immersion process, so that your individual needs are met and exceeded. Mark will also make himself available to mentor any participant who seeks to attain Anusara-Inspired or certified Anusara yoga teacher status.

The Mandala of Light is Mark`s offering of his extensive experience in every aspect of the Anusara yoga practice. A mandala is a universal symbol of a wheel, circle, or even a sphere that is in perpetual motion, and continuously pulsating. Light symbolizes knowledge and our ever-expanding consciousness. The Mandala of Light is the invitation to take an active stance in expanding the wheel or sphere of your own knowledge. This Immersion is not only for the purpose of gaining technical knowledge. It is also to grow in the knowledge of yourself.
Anusara yoga is elegant and simple in its teachings, yet highly sophisticated in its philosophy and practice. In an Anusara Yoga Immersion, you will explore the fundamental Universal Principles of Alignment and practice in asana, and the Shiva-Shakti tantric philosophy. For a more detailed list of the contents of this training, please see below.

Whether you wish to deepen your knowledge of the Anusara yoga practice, or begin the process of becoming an Anusara-Inspired or certified Anusara yoga teacher, you will be guided in the most appropriate way for your aspirations. Mark will empower you to live the greatness of your own heart.

Hours
This Immersion will take place in three parts. Each part is six days long, encompassing a total of 36 classroom hours. The entire Immersion is 108 classroom hours. These hours can be used towards Anusara-Inspired and certified Anusara yoga teacher status. These hours may also be used towards Yoga Alliance continuing education credits.
* Each day will start at 9:00 am and end at 17:00. There will be a 1½ hour lunch break between 12:00-14:00.
